Multidimensional Poverty Index

In today's The Hindu I came across a small item explaining the concept MPI.The concept formulated by Oxford resarchers will help us understand poverty and deprivation better. It tells you the uniquness of Kerala Model,the difference between kerala and Bihar and so many other things.I hope the critics of Kerala model who see public expenditure for education and health care as sheer waste will understand their relevance in poverty eradication.Iam looking for interactions from better informed people.
